JOHN DONALDSON
Fleet & Facility Manager
 
John Donaldson, Fleet & Facility Manager, keeps us rolling....literally.  Turf Tamer has 31 vehicles and 15 trailers on the road each day.  In addition, our Landscaping Maintenance crews use over 200 (and counting) individual pieces of equipment in the daily performance of their duties.  John keeps all our gear in great working order.  He is a get it done now, and do it right the first time type of guy.  People always ask us how we keep our trucks looking so good, well now you know!
 
John was born in Iola, Kansas where he attended Iola High School.  Upon graduation he joined the Navy where he gained experience in maintenance and engine repair.  He attended Orange County College in California, with an emphasis in sociology and psychology.  After leaving the Navy, John continued his education attending the College of Lake County in Illinois, taking courses in accounting and small business.  John came to us from Wisconsin with 25 years experience in transportation and building maintenance.
 
John has a wife and children (the youngest is now in college).  He and his wife enjoy camping, boating and just being outdoors.
