PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Fort Payne & Huntsville, AL & Chattanooga, TN

We are seeking an individual who is well-versed in many of the most important aspects of a company’s success. A project manager is the company’s eyes and ears on project sites, ensuring work is done according to plan, managing and motivating team members and working with office staff and vendors to coordinate successful project installations and site management. This professional has mastered various field tasks including safety compliance, equipment operation, project installation, landscape management, etc. Project managers regularly draw upon strengths in problem-solving, detail management, and working with people.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with crew leaders, sub-contractors, homeowners and or building project managers to ensure daily production, organization & time management

  • Participate in production meetings for each new project

  • Handle customer concerns on a timely basis

  • Manage installation process working with crew leaders

  • Actively support & contribute to the Company’s Safety Program; promote & maintain safe working conditions, ensure safe operation procedures while loading & unloading equipment

  • Assist in analysis of crew’s performance for work and safety

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

  • Ensure proper crews, materials, & equipment are scheduled for each project

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, to work outdoors in various temperatures throughout the day & to work with and as a team

  • Ability to complete tasks independently & take initiative

Education & Experience:

  • No minimum education required

  • 2 years experience as a leader/supervisor
